Grain Free Pizza, Two Ways

No comments:
Pizza is one of those things that are just hard to give up - we may be avoiding grains, but oh, those toppings!

We worked out a couple ways this week to enjoy the occasional pizza-like meal without giving in and dialing Papa John's, and I was pretty happy with both!

Filipino Chicken Adobo

No comments:
Adobo Chicken.  If you've never had this Filipino specialty, you have go to try this - the chicken is extremely flavorful and tender, and as you'll see, the process is ridiculously simple.  Don't forget to eat the garlic cloves... they mellow into tender deliciousness that you don't want to miss.

Review: Organo Gold Coffee

 Reviewer ~ Lynda Hardy

When I was asked if I'd be interested in reviewing a few Organo Gold products sold by Sharon Christman, I was curious and a little unsure.  The coffees, teas, supplements and personal care products all contain ganoderma - a type of mushroom used in Eastern medicine that is also known as reishi.  I didn't know much about it, so I did some research before agreeing to do this, and learned that it has a long history as a beneficial food that can help regulate blood pressure, reduce inflammation, reduce anxiety, and has several other reputed benefits, earning it the nickname 'mushroom of immortality'.

I personally contacted Linda and Lindsay Colton, Mother-Daughter duo, owners of Rustic Simplicity to try their products. I came across them on Facebook, through activity on a friends feed, and fell in love with their items.
